I Won a $500 Zazzle Gift Card
In mid December I received a wonderful email from Zazzle. I was one of the few chosen to receive a $500 gift card from Zazzle to use on zazzle.com. I was excited, ecstatic, very happy and could not wait to use the gift card. I ordered items for my kids, a few things for myself, and t-shirt for my husband. Here is what I ordered.

I also bought another Doodle Speaker, for my son, it is of a sea monster. I would of linked to the product, but the shop creator took the artwork down. And after revisiting the store again, it seems, like the person might be closing the store.?? I don’t know, or why. There is only one item in the store now. The sea monster art is/was titled, “Hunt”.

Working on adding New Products
It seems that I am always working on my zazzle account. Zazzle had released over 15 new products recently and that stopped me in my tracks from working on my new store. I have gone through one of my stores and added most of the new products. I am working on updating my second store with the new products. I’m not sure if I will go back to the new store and finish adding to it or update the older two stores with new artwork. I have so many photographs to add to Developing Nature. And I want to add a lot of old digital artwork from when I had my other Print on Demand sites to Digital Creations.
I hope there is no new product releases for a while, so I can get all of this done. But for now take a look at these new products in Digital Creations. There are new magnets, coasters, and prints. Check out the dish sets. You can bring home a matching set of plates, mugs, teapot and a pitcher. New notebooks, tile top keepsake boxes and laptop cases.

New Web Pages
I have been working on a new Zazzle store. It will feature my still life photographs and photographs of man made objects. It is not near completion yet, but there are enough photographs displayed in the store that a few sales have happened before I was ready to advertise it. Here is my new Zazzle store URL: http://www.zazzle.com/printsfromhome.
I have fireworks, the American Flag, some fresh cut tulips, a few photographs of my cat, and some seashells. I will be adding the rest of the seashells that have empty folders on the site through-out this week. Then over time I will be adding more firework pictures, some T-t-V photographs, some more pictures of my cat, more flowers, and I will also add pictures of my dog. I will be going through all my photographs that I have saved in my computer, there is a lot, so other categories will be added.
Another change is that I have a new Facebook Fan Page. I had a difficult time in trying to update my Facebook fan page over the past few months. Yesterday I made a new one. My new Facebook fan page is: http://www.facebook.com/kimberlyjtphotoart. It would be great if everyone updated their “Like” to this new page. If I ever do get the edit button back for that fan page I will be deleting it. I’m sure you can’t have two fan pages for the same info.

October Snow Storm
We watched the rain quickly turn to snow on Saturday afternoon. It started out as a regular New England Autumn day. A bit chilly, a little wind. Then the wind picked up and it started raining. Then the rain drops got bigger, thicker. The snow first came down wet, then it turned to the pretty delicate snowflakes. That lasted just a minute as the force of the water falling from the clouds quickly changed to the hard falling snow.
We lost power soon after 8pm. In viewing out the windows of our home, it was apparent why. The trees were leaning, heavy with snow. The cars were moved out of reach of the potential hazard and we soon went to bed.
We awoke to a mess and the entire area is havoc. No one could believe, a snow storm in October had come this way. We had about 10 inches of snow piled around us. Trees down everywhere. Power lines across lawns, streets and highways. The kids were happy, for there were to be no school for days. Children played and attempted to sled down any hill they could find nearby. All Sunday parents weighed their options, checked on friends and family, and searched for help.
Here are a few photographs of the damage that was done on this property. The photographs were taken with my camera phone through the house windows. We got power on last night, in time for us to heat up the bedrooms before bed.

Mount Washington & Fall Foliage
We journeyed the Mount Washington Auto Road on this past Saturday, October 8th. It was a nice sunny day…weekend in fact. There was a lot of traffic, it took us longer than it should of have to get to the White Mountains. Luckily we knew a few short cuts so the trip via i93 was not to harsh on us.
The wind was about 70mph when we got there. The kids thought the wind was fun, even tho it did knock my son down, and he almost took someone else with him. We couldn’t really tell if my youngest was crying and scared or laughing. She was mostly huddled up into my husband. Of course we couldn’t hear anything anyways, the wind was all that anyone could really hear. But when she could, she did shout, “I’m blowing Away!”, followed by laughter.
Below are some of the pics I took. They are also viewable on my website in their respected gallery locations. I won’t be able to have the photos from this trip in my Zazzle store any time soon, I have lots of pictures already in Que that have to be added first. It is really busy at home I don’t know when I will be done. But shouldn’t it be that way anyways, a photography store that is never ending work. Always making photos, now just need time to add them.
