About

Artist Portrait I was raised in central New Hampshire, but since marrying, I have not been in New Hampshire very much. My husbands’ job takes us to live in different locations around the world, which is a fantastic opportunity for us to get out and see the world.

I am a stay-at-home mom. I love to create artwork and crafts using things found around the home. Photography and motherhood are a big part of my life. I spend any free time that I can to photograph, paint, draw, or write.

I have been interested in photography for many years, and in September of 2004, I enrolled in an at-home photography course from New York Institute of Photography.
And in a few years my artwork has made its way online, and the creation of kimberlyjt.com was born.

I own a Nikon N65, Pentax K10D, Pentax Optio, a vintage and a newer Polaroid Instant Camera, a Kodak Duaflex.

I have photographed in these locations: Great Britain, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Idaho, California,

My favorite subjects to photograph are landscapes and flowers.

Some of my favorite art comes from these talented people: Ansel Adams, Amy Brown, Jessica Galbreth, Jasmine Becket-Griffith, Madeleine Weber, Anne Geddes, Claude Monet, Georgia O’Keeffe, Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, Nigel Barker, Irene Suchocki, Vincent Van Gogh, Julia Starr, Erica Leighton, Laura Knight.

Enjoy viewing parts of my life, blurbs of my artwork, and anything else I could muster up.
