About Kimberly J Tilley
|
I was raised in central New Hampshire, but since marrying, I have not been in New Hampshire very much. My husbands' job takes us to live in different locations around the world, which is a fantastic opportunity for us to get out and see the world.
I am a stay-at-home mom. I love to create artwork and crafts using things found around the home. Photography and motherhood are a big part of my life. I spend any free time that I can to photograph, paint, draw, or write.
I have been interested in photography for many years, and in September of 2004, I enrolled in an at-home photography course from New York Institute of Photography.
And in a few years my artwork has made its way online, and the creation of kimberlyjt.com was born.

I own a Nikon N65 film camera. I use Nikon and Sigma lenses, and Kodak film.
My digital camera is Pentax K10D. We take the Pentax Optio to the beach.
I own a vintage and a newer Polaroid Instant Camera. The main purpose in using the vintage Polaroid camera is to create image transfer art from the Polaroid's.
I also have a vintage Kodak Duaflex, which I use to create Through-the-Viewfinder (TtV) photographs.
You can connect with me on Twitter, or brightkite to receive updates about things I am doing. Comment on my artwork at Flickr, ArtWanted, or JPG Magazine.
