About

I was raised in central New Hampshire, but since marrying, I have not been in New Hampshire very much. My husbands' job takes us to live in different locations around the world. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to get out and see the world, and we can't complain. I am a stay-at-home mom. I love to create artwork and crafts using things found around the home. Photography and motherhood are a big part of my life. I spend any free time that I can to photograph, paint, draw, or write. I have been interested in photography for many years. I did take a photography course that was available at my high school. In the summer of 2002 I was able to purchase my first SLR. In September of 2004, I enrolled in the at-home photography course from New York Institute of Photography. And in a few years my artwork has made its way online to various artist support sites, print-on-demand sites, and the creation of kimberlyjt.com was soon born.

Cameras

I'm not going to bore you with a list of all the photography gear I own, so here is the run down of what cameras I do have. I own a Nikon N65 film camera. I use Nikon and Sigma lenses. I use Kodak film. My digital camera is Pentax K10D. We take the Pentax Optio to the beach. I own a vintage and a newer Polaroid Instant Camera. I also have a vintage Kodak Duaflex, which I use to create Through-the-Viewfinder photographs, better known as TtV. Soon I hope to add a panoramic camera to my collection. And one day a serious underwater camera. And in the far furture a Hasselblad DSLR. I also like to pick up old cameras here and there to add to my collection.
